The Problem

Manual COI workflows looked simple on paper but failed at scale. The team was handling 10-25 Certificate of Insurance requests at once, often with less than an hour turnaround. Inputs were unstructured, insured lookup depended on slow legacy SOAP APIs, ACORD 25 forms were completed manually, and there was no structured review layer before sending.

Our Solution

We rebuilt the full pipeline in n8n across Request Processing and COI Generation. Incoming emails trigger automation, AI identifies insured entities from messy inputs, policy data is synchronized into PostgreSQL, and certificate data is mapped into ACORD 25 outputs using PDF.co. A controlled review inbox allows the service team to validate and approve before outbound delivery.
